By signing up for a tour with DET you are agreeing to these Tour Conditions so please read this document carefully before completing your reservation request.
Tour price guarantee: The price for the tour you have reserved is guaranteed the moment we receive your deposit. There are no additional taxes to add to the price we quote.
Included in the price of each tour: DET will provide a vehicle and tour guide/driver for the number of days agreed when you book. We cover the costs of the vehicle including fuel and parking. We will assist you in arranging transfers between your airport/seaport and your accommodation in Dorset.
Not included in the price of the tour: Accommodation is not included. We suggest a list of local providers offering different locations, styles of accommodation and price. When we have agreed dates, you are responsible for booking the hotel of your choice. The hotels on our list have varying levels of amenity so please check that any facilities you require are offered. We have no financial interest in your hotel choice and do not, for example, take commissions from providers. Air transportation is not included. Entrance fees and food whilst touring are not included. Transportation from the airport/seaport to your accommodation is not included but we will help arrange this on your behalf.
Itineraries: We work with you to create a custom made itinerary. We will agree an itinerary with you before you arrive either by email or Zoom meeting - whichever you prefer. Any itinerary that we agree may be subject to change if circumstances change. You must let us know in advance if you want to visit Stonehenge for a Circle Access Tour, Highclere Castle or Highgrove Gardens or any other location not listed on our website or that requires purchase of tickets in advance.

If you sign up for a tour less than 60 days before its departure, the entire tour price must be paid.
We accept MasterCard and Visa.
Itineraries: Tour itineraries are agreed with you before you travel. We will not be held responsible for closure of locations named in the tour itinerary. Under such circumstances every endeavour will be made to find an alternative.
Trip insurance: We strongly advise you to take out comprehensive trip insurance when you book. Your insurance should include cover for medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury, and personal liability. We strongly recommend you also obtain cover on booking for loss of baggage, money, and valuables; delay or curtailment; missed departure; cancellation expenses and legal expenses

DET has no other obligations to tour members on cancelled trips including any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets, accommodation or other travel reservations not made by DET.
