Cotswold Garden Tour

A three day garden tour designed to showcase the best of the Cotswold gardens. Tour starts in Moreton in Marsh with a broad range of accommodation options. Finishes in Cirencester.

 
 

Day 1

Hidcote Manor Garden near Chipping Campden is one of the best-known and most influential Arts and Crafts gardens in Britain, with its linked "garden rooms" of hedges, rare trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders.

Kiftsgate Court Garden Beautiful gardens in a spectacular location and surrounding a Cotswold Manor House. Family run garden in the Cotswolds featuring rare plants and shrubs including the world famous Kiftsgate rose.

 

Day 2

Cotswold Lavender Farm. Located on the gentle slopes of the Cotswolds above Broadway the Lavender farm harvest lavender oil in mid-summer with forty different varieties on site. Chamomile is also grown as a crop. The site has stunning wildflower meadows alive with pollinators and wildlife. Lovely shop stocked with lavender products.

Bourton House Garden features luxuriant terraces and wide herbaceous borders with stunning plant, texture and colour combinations. These acclaimed gardens at a 1700s estate noted for its eclectic topiaries & unique, colourful plantings.

Upton Wold Garden A privately-owned, glorious, tranquil garden set in the beautiful Cotswold landscape. Garden rooms are formed by hedges showcasing rare and unusual plants. With an arboretum featuring walnut trees. There is a stream and ponds in the garden. 

 

Day 3

The Garden at Miserden The Garden at Miserden is a family-run rural estate overlooking the Golden Valley - a timeless walled garden with spectacular views.There are extensive yew hedges, including a notable topiary yew walk influenced by Lutyens as well as some magnificent mixed borders, which contain a wide range of roses, clematis, shrubs and herbaceous plants that provide colour right through from spring to autumn.

Cerney House Gardens This secret Cotswold garden at Cerney House, set high above the lovely Churn Valley is a very special and friendly place. Based in a walled garden with herbaceous borders and rose trellises. Working vegetable garden and herb garden.

Cost

The tour costs GBP2295 for up to four guests travelling in one vehicle. Food, accommodation and entrance fees not included. Not all locations are open every day so exact allocation may change depending on your travel dates. This Itinerary can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
